I installed Spigot 1.12.2 on a root server. If I want to enter the server list in the server, it takes longer until it is displayed to me. Enter that too. On the server then 500 ping for no reason and not only with me. No lags no delays in mining or PvP. Everything is running smoothly. If I ping the root server, it also has a 24 ping. So why those high pings?
If the effect is not delayed when hitting an NPC, but a high ping is displayed, I can only imagine that the ping is not high because the line is long, but because the server responds only delayed.
And how can you solve this?
If the ping is an illusion, is not there a problem?
But I think that it bothers the user if the server takes so long to ping.
Is it any different if you enter the normal Zahlenip instead of the domain?
I could imagine that the Internet connection or the hardware are too bad and therefore bad pings are displayed.
