When you mine Coarse Dirt, it simply drops Dirt.
Actually, the "Smooth Sandstone to Smooth Sandstone" recipe alone should be enough proof. This was removed in the 1.8 namely. But I can apply it to Hypixel.

No, no other server software but basically there's every Minecraft feature reprogrammed to change the game. You can't compare it to Vanilla.

Suppose this Sandstone → Sandstone recipe goes to Hypixel in all other game modes as well.
Do you have a plan what it's all about that a 1.7-only recipe on a 1.8 server is?
