I can join all Minecraft servers except one?

I'm currently playing very actively on a server owned by a friend of mine that he runs on his Raspberry Pi himself. I already had big problems logging into it yesterday. Whenever i'm jointed i just saw the sky and it didn't load anything. After a while I was thrown from the server with the error code: internal exception java.io.ioexception: an existing connection was closed by the remote host. I was able to fix this problem by turning on a vpn.

Today I have a new problem: The server list says that no connection to the server can be established and whenever I try to join the error code comes: io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel $ AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information.

I've already tried to restart my PC, reinstalled Minecraft, turned off the firewall, updated Java, also tried a vpn, but it didn't work. I've had this problem since this morning and I've been trying to log in all day but the same error code keeps coming up. All my friends get on the server without any problems and I can also access any other server just not on this one. I'm using windows 10 and my internet provider is Telekom.

Would be nice if someone could give me a solution to this problem as I really want to play on the server again.

This error message could be related to network connection problems between your computer and the Minecraft server. This problem is hard to find and even more difficult to fix as it can be caused by any network provider on the long journey between your computer and the server. Often times this is only a temporary problem and will resolve itself after a while.

Here are a few suggested solutions that might help:

Viewdistance from the server lower switching. (Has to be done by the owner) Tell your friend to go to the server.properties and switch the viewdistance to 4. Then restart the server.

Change your IPv4 DNS address.

Press Windows Key + R to open Run.

Enter control and click OK.

In the Control Panel you go to Network and Internet.

Click Change adapter settings in the left pane.

Right click on your network adapter and choose Properties.

Scroll down and double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4).

Select the Use the following DNS server addresses option.

Enter the following in the Preferred or Alternate DNS Server field:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

Click OK to save your changes.

Reinstall Java

Press Windows Key + R to open Run.

Enter control and click OK.

Click Uninstall a Program.

Select Java from the list of installed programs.

Click on Uninstall.

Once you've uninstalled it, download and install the https://www.java.com/.../download/.

Restart the computer and see if there are any improvements.

If none of that helps, maybe wait a few hours.
