Why can I join some servers in Minecraft and some not?

I've been trying to join a Minecraft server for a while, I can join some official ones (like Hypixel) but also some not (like InvadedLands). I've tried to bypass the firewall several times and even turned it off. It can't be the antivirus program either, because I've already uninstalled it. The servers that I want to join always say "Can't connect to server". And as I said, it works with some servers and not with some.

How about if you do what the servers say? Red Cross, server is not for your version. Simply hover the mouse over the display and you will see which version you can play with. It's actually quite simple.
