I recently got a pc, I just want to play minecraft on servers. Can anyone please tell me which servers I can play where, what are the advantages of this and the edition and so on?

The Java Edition, because you can play with mods and play on servers like Gomme, Timolia, Mineplex, Cytooxien etc.
There are also texture packs, skins and maps for free.
The Bedrock Edition supports crossplay (PS, XBOX, WIN10, Switch, Android & iOs). However, each skin package, texture pack, addon and map costs extra.
And can I use Java on handy servers such as cubeecraft or something?
