Hi, Minecraft started a long time ago. So I rented MC servers with friends (I already had one with 2GB of RAM and that was enough for 15 people.) Now we're to 6. And have rented a server with 4GB of RAM The problem is it lays as soon as 2 Players have been on the server since the very beginning, so I got smart and switched from Spigot to Paper, which helped in the beginning and the lags were less but they are still there.

Why do not you just ask the support of your host? Would be 1000 times smarter😂
The mods play a major role and well possible that the 1.14 requires more RAM.
If the hoster officially offers MC, then he should know something.
The error usually means that it is on the CPU and not on the Ram. Ask the hoster if something can be done there.
