Minecraft Plotsquared Items Dropen on Road Not?

Hey have a MC server with Plotsquared but the items do not drop on the street

Why should drop items on the street, this is a protected area and not playable. Items drop only on the property, otherwise you would soon have loads of laggs.

But maybe it knows better.
