How can I set my server to be displayed online or offline?

I would like to create a Minecraft server for my community at Aternos because I still have a small community and I would also like to create a website white Wix.com so that you can also check whether the server is online or offline and whether there are any events and such. But how can I set that the website shows that it is online or not that it automatically shows that the server is currently online / offline '?

I can't say how it is with Aternos, but other hosters have a small banner that you can insert into your website. When the page is refreshed, the mode in which the server is located is displayed there.

Alternatively, this should also work with a server list if the server is entered there. However, problems could arise here if the server is offline for a long time (several hours / days).

I don't know if there's a plugin either. You should have a look at spigot.
