You think you have to enter the port in the server.properties and I think the ip and then just start.bat

Eg

It would be easier to just buy a server.

Solved the problem just a question how can my friend join the server without my start or can I start it? (same world progress etc)

The server runs as long as your PC is running…

You can allow your friend to control your PC remotely via Teamviewer and thus start the server, but your PC must always be on, which is usually the case with servers…

Or you can build a second, energy-saving PC, without a graphics card, on which Linux runs and create your server on it… An old laptop is very suitable for this, it is quiet and does not need much power…

Your server can then run on it…

Why spend money on a server that you can host yourself if you have half a lot of RAM?

Da

Well, if you have released all ports correctly, then someone from outside of your network can come to your server by entering your IP (you can find out e.g. On https://www.wieistmeineip.de/) to indicate which other network you want to join. Then you put a colon with the port you have released and which is in the server.properties to say which service you are addressing in the specified network.

If you have released the ports, someone else must enter the IP of the router. But important not the internal but the external

Co

Then you always have to copy the files over so that they stay in sync. Or one of you has a computer that is always on when you want to play

As long as it is only a server that is only used when friends are there to play with and it does not have to be on 24/7, it costs more to let it run elsewhere
