I bought the Minecraft version for Windows 10 & tried to join Mixel Pixel. This didn't work, so I asked someone for advice. I have noticed the following: Mixel Pixel is only accessible via the Java version. You can apparently uninstall the Windows 10 version and install the Java version for free. However, I had a lot of problems installing the first version and was afraid of losing my savegames, which is why I don't want to uninstall it now. Is there another way to join the server?
No, unfortunately not. You need the Java version
Buy the Java version at mojang or minecraft on the Internet. It's better anyway
Unfortunately you can't, but if you want to get Minecraft Java:
1.Buy Minecraft card in a shop (picture with diamond pickaxe 23 euro)
2. Go to Minecraft.net and create an account
3. Redeem the code and buy it.
4. In Minecraft launcher you can choose everything

No that is not possible and never has been. If you want to run on Java Server you need the Java Edition of http://www.minecraft.net/...ecraft.net
