I don't see any more minecraft skins what can I do?

I have already looked for other contributions and answers how I can do that so that I can see all mc skins normally again, but none of them work. I only see steve and alex skins and that doesn't go away even after playing for 4 hours but the skins stay that way. I wanted to ask if I can change that. I also play the latest version 1.16.2.
