Recently, the interest of VR Gaming awakens me. I wanted to buy an Oculus Rift, but I'm a newbie in the area and I'd like to know which ones are best for the price / performance ratio.
For now I would like to play games like Minecraft and The Forest in VR and over time No man's Sky.
Currently I have an ASUS Geforce GTX 960 TURBO GTX960-OC-4GD5 4GB graphics card and an Intel Core i5 6500 3.2Ghz
I would be happy about any tips on buying advice and the associated graphics / processor requirement.

The Oculus Rift S is an absolutely solid choice with no major weaknesses. In addition, she gets along even better with your rather low graphics performance.
However, the games you call are not all games made for VR - meaning you do not need "roomscale" and no sophisticated "hand tracking".
Therefore, there's the option that you as cheap as possible and possibly on eBay WMR glasses (Windows mixed reality) shoots. Especially interesting are the Samsung Odyssey and Odyssey Plus. The rich wonderful for such games or simulations and have sometimes even a better picture than the Rift S.
Above these possibilities, there's really only the "Valve Index" glasses, which should be pretty much the egg-laying wool milk sow - but only in a few months comes and costs almost € 1100 with accessories.
Basically, a stronger graphics card would be advisable for all these glasses, for example a GTX 1660Ti as a solid upgrade. As I said, the Rift S could best handle your current hardware.
Away from that, there's also the mobile Oculus Quest, which would leave you completely independent of the location.
In short - first make clear how much money you really want to lie down. And notice - it will never be cheap. € 500 may not hurt you there.
Addendum: Forget the reference to the quest that can't play your favorite games yes.
