Yesterday my ready PC arrived with a Ryzen 5 2600 and RX580 and of course I gambled a bit. I got a lot out of it when gaming, namely the GPU load. The load increases for me from 6% to 100% and drops back to approx. 6% after a few seconds. This is repeated all the time. The temperature is also around 65 ° ~ 75 °. Are the values normal? I only played Minecraft with 60FPS and it can't happen at Minecraft that the graphics card is used so blatantly? This is also the case in other games with 60FPS and medium settings. When there are no games running, the temperature and load are all right in the green.
It can be natural that a workload is rendered there. It's actually quite natural. The temps are also in the green.
If you have vsync on (60fps capped), it may be that your graphics card is so good that it renders, then stops briefly and then it starts to render again. Shouldn't happen at infinite fps
Must be something with the GraKa only have a GTX 1050 TI and minecraft runs at about 50%
Yes, I have VSync on, thanks for the answer 👍
Okay thanks
Thanks
May be due to V-Sync. You can see if you have V-Sync on. Better always yourself, manually limit the number of FPS.
Perhaps the card decides that it runs on 25% performance (i.e. 25% of Maixmaltakt) and then makes 100% utilization with the reduced performance. (With 100% performance it would then be 25% utilization). I could imagine that this is some kind of energy saving mechanism. As long as everything is running, that's not a problem
Maybe VSync on
If so, turn it off
Okay I'll do that then, thanks
No problem
