I watched videos on the Internet that played Minecraft with BSL shaders (comparable CPU and GPU), which consistently had over 120 fps with 12 chuncks of visibility, if I record with the same settings I only get a maximum of 70 fps. My GPU utilization is at most only at 50% and mostly only at 30 and I notice that in the fps.
My specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Kfa2 RTX 2060 SUPER
RAM: G.Skill Aegis 3000
Because Minecraft is a pure CPU game:-)
Quite simply put.
Hope I could help you.
MC = CPU heavy.
The game is mainly designed for the CPU, so your graphics card will not be used to capacity.
Minecraft is a CPU game i have 100fps beacouse i hav egoid processor but if you have medium processor something like my processor: x8 intel core i5 1035G1 (on servers that have flat world) and if you have good GPU you will have so much FPS
