For the time being until the new graphics cards are available again and the price drops, I got a GT710 from GeForce with 2GB memory.
when I watch YouTube videos I see GTA games with this graphics card at 40-60fps.
I built my pc zsm and because all components have arrived except for the graphics card, I just got a replacement for 45 euro with which I can at least download all programs and play.
now I have the problem that when I start minecraft as an example I only have 22fps if I set everything to low settings it is almost 30fps. Minecraft started with vanilla 1.8 and has no texture packs or shaders inside.
I have to mention that I'm not familiar with pc (Windows) and I have been on Mac for years.
Since I've only built the pc since yesterday, I haven't changed anything in the BIOS except for running the RAM on 3600mhz. (Something with Xmp was that or something)
And added that when I wanted to test the CPU of a tool (stress test), the PC crashed but not the second time. And when watching movies, too, but then the message came with Windows Update. But is it normal that if you are working, playing, watching movies while you are working, the update simply starts to run on its own? That's a catastrophe when I want to play and at the moment it's a 1vs1 and my PC just shuts down and updates an update.
A GT 710 with only 2GB of graphics memory is very tight for games that are poorly adapted. Minecraft is one of those games that likes to cause problems. There are processors that have better graphics units than this graphics card. You need a new graphics card. GTA is well adapted for old graphics cards and therefore still playable.
And to the problem with the updates, you can also deactivate it if you look in the settings under advanced options. There should be the possibility to deactivate its automatic restart. Just like the notifications for it.
Thanks alot!
