Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 cooling. AS?

I've had a Geforce 1060 for a long time. It gets pretty, pretty hot in almost all games. My motherboard is halfway through because of all the heat! It even runs hot with something like Minecraft… And all without shaders, complex texture packs or lots of particles. In fact, quite the opposite! If someone has a SERIOUS solution ready, then always give it to LG

Define hot. How hot does the graphics card really get? Did you also measure this (in the game and / or outside the game) or just feel it? 60-75 degrees would be normal with a graphics card.

With programs like the MSI Afterburner you can turn the fan or the fan curve on or off. Then maybe the fan gets louder, but the graphics card gets cooler.

Dust can also cause the graphics card to overheat. Dust off would then be the order of the day.

Between the GPU chip and the heat sink there's usually normal thermal paste that dries out after years and that should be replaced every now and then…

Furthermore, if the heat sink should be quite dusty: brush (unless you have a special attachment for the vacuum cleaner), a vacuum cleaner and then completely vacuum the fan and heat sink…

With GTA, if you want to play it with good graphics, it is around 85-90 degrees

Okay, that's clearly too high. First I would dust off the graphics card, possibly apply new thermal paste and then, if this does not improve, turn up the fans in the MSI Afterburner.
