Does Minecraft have a texture size limit?
Do you mean single files or a pack?
Yes 2.
512 x 512
Is the biggest texture pack I know
At Bedrock I had a 512x512 texture pack on the xbox. Was technically the upper limit, and I do not know a higher resolution than x512 - habs also tried to get the TP on Bedrock on the cell phone to work - the cell phone crashed and had to restart 👌🏻😂
The technical limit is the Xbox, not Minecraft.
Minecraft not necessarily, but the technology does.

Complete packs in 2048 * 2048 are currently not possible.
Yes well, isn argument. Technically, it is different at bedrock, theoretically it works flawlessly (Windows 10 PC, Xbox One) and sometimes it is a system fix (cell phone, Nintendo Switch, PS4)
It doesn't look any different with the Java version. A 400 euro PC will never be able to run an HD Pack.
But works great for xbox bedrock 🤣 - come on, something is wrong 😂
He probably means the pack, but not as storage, but as a resolution, i.e. 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, or just 256x256. The largest resolution known to me so far is 512x512 pixels. In Minecraft it is called UHD texture package, but not misunderstood as 4K, UHD is called it because of the extremely well recognizable graphics, which so far have been considered ultra-resolution. If a 1000x1000 pixel texture pack came out, the 512x512 would be considered as QHD, while 1000x1000 would be called UHD. (as an example: |)
