Is it possible to shop with Microsoft credit in Minecraft windows 10 shop?

I redeemed 5 euro from a credit card on my Microsoft account, but when I'm in the Minecraft Shop I can't buy something with my credit does anyone know why?

There's nothing you can do about it, you just can't redeem it because you are not directly in the windows store…

If you are in the Windows 10 version of Minecraft, the purchases should go through the Microsoft Store (then you can use your store credit). If you are on Java / Android / IOS / Playstation it does not work. It should work on XBox too.
