Minecraft island? - 1

So I play on Ps4 and wanted to build a base on some island for myself.

But I don't find any, no matter how far I go it's always just land.

How can I find an island?

The best thing to do is to search Google for "Seeds" for MineCraft.

e.g. Island-seed → or similar

Either keep looking or start a new world

there's not much you can do…

But why not just create a new world with the seed as a prefix? I don't really understand the problem.
