I have my new gaming PC for about 2 weeks, only minecraft, is boring. Therefore I ask you if you know games that can be searched for a little longer, but which are not shooting games. So no fortnite, paladins, csgo etc. Thanks in advance (do not necessarily have to be free)

Sn

Assassins Creed 2, Brotherhood, 3, 4.

Skyrim

Hitman 2

Deus Ex

Watch dogs

Tomb Raider all parts

I'm not really a fan of shooters myself. I play pretty much all of the Need for Speed parts. The old and the new are all fun. You don't necessarily need a steering wheel to play it properly. You can still do that quite well with a controller. With a steering wheel, of course, that's something completely different.

But I can also generally recommend all other car racing games. Forza and so on for example. For some, you should already have a steering wheel so that it really makes sense. And you have to know how a car behaves. Many quickly lose fun because they go full throttle in the curve and turn or go into the curve too quickly etc.

If you want a steering wheel, I can recommend it to you. It actually has everything a steering wheel needs. Everything in terms of price is hardly worth it:

For Honor

All kinds of racing games and simulators:

Forza Horizon 4 (with controller)
Cities Skylins
Middle Earth:… (the complete series)
The Southpark game series

Ps: most games are cheaper at https://www.instant-gaming.com

I suggest you drop by Epic Games. They give away a new game almost every week. I've already got over 60 games there for free, so I never get bored. ^^

Towards action / role playing:

The Witcher 3
Diablo 3

I recommend using a controller for this

Dark Souls Remastered
Monster Hunter World

I recommend using a controller for this.

From the corner of simulation / strategy:

Kerbal Space Program
Cities skylines

From the field of first person shooters, oh wait, non-violent, hmm yes, anyway

Portal (less long but a lot of entertainment)
Portal 2 (now with long-term motivation)

And another Metroidvania:

Hollow Knight

Is a kind of "shooting game"

I would not call it a steering wheel for beginners, for beginners I recommend the Logitech G29 (https://www.amazon.de/Logitech-Driving-Force-Rennlenkrad-geeignet-UK-Stecker/dp/B00YUOVBZK/ more often for well under 200

I never said it was a beginner's steering wheel. I said it's a steering wheel that leaves little or nothing to be desired.
And yes, for beginners, the G29 is quite good. This is actually almost as good as the Thrustmaster. Only the one I linked has a more powerful engine, is a lot quieter and should feel better. I've never had a G29 in my hand. So I don't want to make any claims here but I've read and viewed a lot of comparisons online. Almost everyone thought the Thrustmaster was better. Well, it also costs 70 euro more. But I think the surcharge is worth it.
