I wanted to download Minecraft on my PC today. I went in "normally" on the minecraft.net site. The first thing I wanted to do was pay by credit card, which turned out to be difficult for you: I entered the account number several times and so on and came back to the "TIME TO BUY" page as if I had never done anything. I didn't think anything else and tried the actually reliable PayPal. It was the same there; given number one again and nothing happened again.
I had also created a Microsoft account and signed in everywhere.

Has the money been debited? If so, then you were "ripped off"

What is ripped off? Did they deduct something from you, otherwise you were at most robbed of your time. Didn't have that. Possibly create a new account or write to support, what should be possible.
It all runs on the PC in the company, so I will see it the day after tomorrow at the earliest
