I bought Minecraft for Windows 10 at Gameliebe & would like to download a world. For that I need the .minecraft order. This will not be displayed with me. I have already tried everything with% appdata%, show hidden folders, etc. But the folder is still missing. Can anyone help me with that?

Pu

You Jeff Bezos,

Did you already launch Minecraft at least once?

Dr

I assume you have the version from the Windows Store?

If so, you have the wrong version and you are damned not to have a .minecraft folder

Er

Yes, have already created a test world, but has brought nothing synonymous🤔

In

Wrong version of Minecraft, so it does not give the folder.

Er

Oh no. Can I then download no world and which version would have been the right one?

en

The Minecraft folder from the Windows 10 version is not in the same location as the one from the Java version. Look under the following directory:

% LocalAppData% \ Packages \ Microsoft.UWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe \ Local State \ games \ com.mojang \ minecraft worlds

There you will find the Minecraft folder for the Windows 10 / Bedrock Edition.

Co

Windows10 or the Java version?

Start the game, go under Options and then on Resourcepack. There in the menu you can open your Minecraft folder, you just have to go back to a directory.

However, it looks to me like you are using the Windows10 version.

Unfortunately it is not possible.

Er

Oh no. Can I then download no world and which version would have been the right one?

You can already download and paste worlds, but it's just a bit harder. Minecraft Java Editon would have been right.

Er

So then best to buy the Java version for 24 euro directly from Minecraft.net, right?

In

Exactly!

Dr

The Java version of minecraft.net would have been the right version
