Hi
Have created a server and let there run a mod with another dimension. Now I wanted to add more mods, but bring in the normal world changes. How can I integrate the dimension of the existing mod into another world or regenerate the normal world without damaging the other dimension?
You can have the seed output with / seed, delete the world and then enter the seed in the server settings.
Is there a possibility without recreating the world? I already have buildings that I do not want to lose.
No, unfortunately not
But it works, habs made it. (See answer from me)
Instructions to import a dimension into a new world with new mods:
What's that good for? Have on a Forge server in retrospect still mods which generate ores in the upper world and generally make the landscape more beautiful, but these have no effect unless the world is recreated. But since we have all our progress (house etc.) in another dimension, we wanted to take this into a newly generated one.
Remember coordinates in the dimension, put all the items you still have in the inventory into a chest and use up the levels. (Except you copy the player files into the new world)
Create a new world with new mods
Locate DIM old world folders and copy all files into the DIM folder of the New World
Install NBTExplorer and open the Level.dat file from both worlds
Forge and MODS "Packages" (If all except DATA) should replace the old Leven.dat file with theirs in the new Level.dat
Delete all files in the region folder
Done, the dimension is the same now.
