Is there a way to renew the entire World in Minecraft (1.12.2) or at least to regenerate it with a command?
Worldedit unfortunately only offers the possibility to renew areas via pos1+ 2.
Do you want all blocks to be deleted and regenerated again?
Yes, the world should be created anew
Just copy the seed and create a new one
Yes how? Will the player's data be lost?
I have a second world
Then it doesn't work with the seed. Try it like this:
Press the Windows keys and R and enter "% appdata% /. Minecraft / saves" in the window.
Copy, paste your world back into the folder to make a backup.
Open the copy and delete the following folders:
DIM1
DIM-1
poi
region
Thanks for the hint. Can you briefly describe what DIM1, DIM-1 and region stand for?
I don't have the poi folder.
It is a server that is online.
When I look into the World folder, I have AE2, DIM-1 to DIM12, DIM-11325, DIM-9999, Wohnwelt and 8 other folders that are more plug-in-related.
I also thought more of a plugin or in-game command to renew the world.
Nja DIM1 and DIM-1 are nether and end chunks, which one is exactly which I don't know by heart. Poi is the place where villager stores their professional blocks from 1.14 and region is the chunk store of the upper world.
The other DIMs with you are probably worlds of mods or plugins
Isn't it enough to delete the region folder in the world folder?
Then just the upper world is regenerated
That's enough for me for now!
I just tested it, it seems to be working
If anyone still has a tip on how I can regenerate the world, I have everything together.
What do you mean regenerate, just join and start again
If I just delete the files in the Region folder, the server creates the world for me as it was before, so it is not accidentally regenerated
Yes, because it is also the same seed, you have to replace the level.dat file with one from another world
All right, I'll try.
