Minecraft launcher opens and then remains gray?

I had a question. A few weeks ago my friend made a copy of a world and put it on a stick. Not more.

Shortly afterwards, the launcher started to pack. After clicking, the launcher opened, but remained gray. We then waited for a total of 2 hours and then a picture appeared and we could play. After that we were able to play on the LAN a few times and it didn't take that long to load the launcher. Now the same again. The launcher opens immediately but remains gray again. Java has already been updated, the launcher has already been uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing happens.

I've also read that everything in the Minecraft folder should be deleted except the saves and Minecraft should be started. But that doesn't work because the launcher still doesn't open to start Minecraft.

Unfortunately, I'm not a professional. Maybe you can help us. We're slowly at a loss.

You can still delete everything. Do the key combination Win and R and enter% appdata%. Then you go to .minecraft, copy the saves folder out and then delete it.

Of

Unfortunately it didn't bring anything. The launcher screen is still gray and nothing happens.

Si

Then maybe it's the world. Copy them out and try again.

Of

But there isn't even a saves folder in the Minecraft order. Because the entire Minecraft folder was deleted.

Si

Oh, I thought you copied the folder out… Then I don't know what to do next. Maybe you have the wrong Java version installed? 32bit instead of 64bit or the other way around?

Of

Yes, we copied the saves folder to the desktop and deleted the entire Minecraft folder. And then started the launcher and still nothing happened. There's a 32 bit version on it and it worked just as well up to that point.

Si

If you have a 64bit PC, try to use the 64bit Java version anyway. That's why I had problems once in a while

Of

We found the problem. My friend right clicked the Minecraft Launcher> run with graphics processor> used integrated graphics. Apparently the other graphics card has to be used now, for whatever reason. Still, thank you very much for your help.

Si

Hmm but the integrated one is normal white worse than the normal one. Well better than nothing.
