I would like to transfer my Minecraft worlds from my smartphone (Huawei Mate 10 lite, Android) to my Nintendo Switch to play them there. I'm logged in on both devices with the same Xbox account and to my knowledge both are the Minecraft Bedrock Edition. So I would like to know if that works and how?
I'm sorry, but that's not possible. Nintendo Switch and mobile are two different clients.
PC, Mobile, Mac, Switch, PS4, Xbox - they all have a different Minecraft. You can't transpose worlds from one to the other - just one at a time.
Even your Xbox account can't do anything. The serves only for username, multiplayer, achievements and the shop.
Well, there's the Bedrock edition of Minecraft, which is available on cell phones, Windows 10, Switch, PS4 and Xbox, so the "Minecrafts" are not that different. But yes, you can't transfer worlds to other platforms.
Ps4 not.
You must be logged in on both devices with the same Microsoft account.
Now start the free trial of the Realm. Or rent one.
Upload your world from the smartphone there.
And then down the world again on the switch.

There's no other way yet. But that's how it worked for me. ^^
Yes if you have a SD card swap the SD card
