Do you know any technical limits in Minecraft? (not the obvious ones like World Border and so) (server side)
What I have so far is:
BlockUpdate limit: ~ 1900
TileTick limit: 65536
ChunkSize limit: 1MB
Do you know any more, or maybe you have an idea what could have a limit?
Yes, there's the player limit on the part of a Minecraft server, but depending on the server, this can actually be pushed up to infinity.
That is obviously xD
But thanks
; D
You can set a lot, but does not mean that in fact infinite players can join - at 1 GB Ram are less than 10 players…
That's it, but depending on the size of the server, the limit has been postponed.
Or with a huge server network, you can push it to infinity as long as it can withstand bandwidth, resources and PC's of the players. (eg 100K player on a single 16x 16-block map, would be difficult to implement);)
Depending on the RAM available… Because that's the only difference…
Question: What is the difference between big and small servers?
Do not take it literally now.
"small server" -> server with less RAm / CPU
"big server" -> Big server with more RAM / CPU as well as server networks
In addition, not only makes the Ram a difference, also CPU plays an important role. But yes in a 4-core Xeon are probably at 64GB Verfbrrem Ram conclusion
