Find Minecraft place of death coordinates and teleport?
I died by accident in my survival world on a somewhat longer Elytra trip. I've been somewhere I've never been before, far from my base. However, I had a lot of important stuff with me that I would like to have again! Is there a way to find the place of death again? The chunk isn't loaded, so the stuff should still be there.
I would use the MCASelector program for this.
The program is actually intended to delete chunks that are no longer needed.
However, you can view your map from above in the program. Among other things, you can see which chunks you have already explored and which you have not. So you can follow the path you flew with the Elytra. Should be a long run of chunks. The further you've flown, the easier it is to find (because the longer the line). This is what it looks like:

Scroll all the way down and download the .jar file. Then run it with Java. (double-click or right-click → Open with → Java)

Then download it and also download the linked .jar file (the Github link, scroll all the way down). And then see if you can do it. If not, you also need Java, not sure if that is standard with mac.
At the moment I'm still somehow downloading the map. So far, however, in vain. Do you have any tips? I've already tried FileZilla, but failed.

Hmm, yes, think the world manager is no longer right? I think I went earlier.
Then you have to do it via FileZilla. Where exactly are you failing? Unfortunately I don't know my way around, but I can google it for sure.
