I use the minecraft PE (on my iPhone) and would like to somehow secure my worlds so that if my cell phone breaks etc., I can simply log into my Microsoft account on another iPhone and have all my worlds there. Is that possible somehow? π₯ΊβΊοΈ
Dear greetings
You have to go to the "Files" app.
From there on "On my iPhone"> Minecraft> com.mojang> Worlds
Or something like that. I can't look it up right now, but just back up this folder in case you find it.
Edit:
On my iPhone> Minecraft> Games> com.mojang> minecraftWorlds
Great, thank you very much! π So I should just back up the "minecraftWorlds" folder? If so, how can I do that? (Sry am not the pro)
You hold down on the folder and then select "Compress" in the menu
This will create a zipped copy of the folder that you can then copy to, for example, your computer

Oh, if my cell phone breaks, etc. Then I have saved this file on the computer and in iCloud, so when I have a new cell phone the file is still there and when I download Minecraft to the new cell phone again, how can I make the worlds back into this "new" Minecraft (so that I can continue to build them, etc.)?
Simply delete the new minecraftWorlds folder and paste your old one with all the worlds there
Okay! π Thank you! π€
Now I have one last question for you: are changes I make in the world automatically saved in this copy? Or do I always have to make a new copy?
Then of course you have to make a new copy, since the different folders are then independent of each other
Okay, thanks π
