So it just annoys me that I'm always thrown out of the world when he no longer has any desire to play minecraft. I have access to his Microsoft account, but when I go to worlds, there are always only my worlds. Can I take over his worlds so that I can continue playing alone?

"he" will have to send you the worlds - and you will then have a local copy of it, changes do NOT affect his copy

He goes to the appropriate directory where the files are stored and sends them on to the world.
Should theoretically work, I'm not sure - don't play with the PE and don't have an iPhone either
