I built something in Minecraft, and then placed a mob from a mod. I can't get rid of it now. The mob doesn't get any damage, / difficulty 0 doesn't help either, and if I try to dig a hole under the bedrock, it won't go down. Can I delete this in the world files? Version is 1.12.2.
Yes, that should work by entering [/ kill @e] in the Minecraft chat, but this will kill all mobs in this world

Stand right next to it and enter the following:
/ kill @e [type =! Player, r = 3]
That kills every mob (except players) within three blocks (the number after r. All other mobs stay alive. Especially if you have a survival world and your mobs are important to you, the above command is good to know.
In square brackets [] behind @e you can restrict the radius as well as the number and the type of the mob. Then there are no big losses like with your command. Just a tip.
