And thanks for the answers in advance.
I bought an RPI 3 a while ago. Since I recently play with Minecraft again with friends and host a server on my own PC, I came up with the idea to host the Minecraft server easily on my RPI 3, because I can run this 24/7 without a shock after the electric bill to get. Did anyone try this yet? Is the small computer enough for 5-6 people and the two Pulgins World edit and Essentials?
Do not think that RPI 3 already has very few resources
Since you will find tons of instructions, this should work. Gidf.
The Pi is too weak, the Pi at most 4 people with zero plugins
Since Minecraft is a CPU game and the raspberry does not have the best CPU
I already knew, but the hope was still there. 😂
I also have a RBPI3B, and I have tested it the server was already overwhelmed with several TNT's, and the raspi has a passive cooling and no active ie. The server heats up too fast and loses performance and to get good performance the server would have to be actively chilled or the server always has to cool down for about half an hour.
The raspi is very good and effective for a TS3 server or NAS server
