I can't install optifine?

I want to install optifine for minecraft but I can't do it because I don't know how to open it with Java (java is not displayed with a when opened)

Download Java here:

https://www.java.com/.../download/

and install it.

Then download Optifine for your version here:

https://optifine.net/.../downloads

After you have downloaded Optifine, right click on the .jar file and select "Open with"
There you choose "JAVA (TM) Platform SE Binary" or something like that.

Then the Optifine installation script should start.

You have to add Optifine to Minecraft's Mods folder and then start Minecraft with Forge (everything has to be the same version).

Optifine does not require a forge

With forge it's the same problem

I have Java and it has already been reinstalled, it doesn't work

Do you have the option to right-click and open with that I described?
