I got the beta of the RTX version of Minecraft Windows 10 and only played about 20fps on average when playing with RayTracing.
Also in the Java version with RayTracing shaders I achieve max. 30fps
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU RTX 2080 8GB OC
RAM: 8GB G.Skill TridentZ RGB
(All new)
My friend with one
GPU: RTX 2070 Super
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X
and 16GB Ram
has 60fps in the Java version, although it has a slightly worse GPU than me.
Here are my Minecraft Windows Settings:
Maybe on the ram because you can assign mincragt ram next time look how much ram is used
Think is on the Ram would get 16gb 3200mhz
Yes and no because rtx does not mean that you need a normal pc! It doesn't take as many fps as a normal shader (depending on which shader)
I also have 16gb 3200mhz (the ram is somehow automatically clocked down to 2133mhz
As far as I know, Ram can only be assigned to the Java version. The Windows 10 version doesn't. But thanks for the answer
