In the Minecraft Bedrock version, it's often the case that Redstone doesn't work the way it should. It often happens by chance which signal switches.
For better understanding:
If two pistons with two blocks in between - one empty, one not - face each other, one is powered with a torch and then the torch and the other piston are repeatedly powered at the same time, sometimes one piston pushes the block between them.
Why is that? And will something be changed about it (like so many other things in Bedrock)? Or where can I get information about this topic?
Bedrock is way too stripped down and a lot is adapted for the typical mobile phone gamer. You should switch to / back to Java
Redstone works differently in the Bedrock Edition. However, you can also do things with Redstone in the BE that are not possible in the JE. For example, you can put a redstone torch on the side of a piston in the BE.
Redstone circuits are simpler in the Java Edition in my opinion.
Is that what everyone wants today…
Bedrock and Java version are apparently the "same" game.
Still, there are such differences as they were created completely independently of each other, so each of the two has its own "quirks" and bugs.
The two versions of Minecraft weren't even both developed in the same programming language.
Redstone behaves differently in the bedrock edition e.g. Doesn't the bud switch exist but it is still possible to work with the Redstone. I played Bedrock for a long time and managed to do it. You just have to get used to it.
