AMD FX (tm) 8350 vs I5 4460S?

Both have what you say which is better?
AMD FX (tm) 8350 4 cores 8 threads 4GHz
I5 4460S 4 cores 4 threads 2.9GHz

I know from the data the AMD is better but I know that the I5 runs better in single core than the AMD… The PC is equipped with 8GB RAM and a GTX970, for gaming it is only used to a limited extent only things like minecraft, otherwise home office.

The i5 is better in the single core and the FX is better in operation with multiple cores

And which of the two would be better for my benefit?

I would take the FX.
