Minecraft on the phone?

That's the first question on my side and it's about the game Minecraft.

I bought my brother the "Minecraft" app for his mobile phone for 7.99 euro instead of spending the 20/30 euro on his PC😅

Now the problem is that every time he tries to log in, he is simply thrown out of the app.

I also read that you have to log into Microsoft and although I did that, it just doesn't work.

He really wanted to play the game with his friend, but the "multiplayer" function doesn't work. He also played the normal version in other alternatives for Minecraft.

It would be really nice if you could help me

What cell phone? Manufacturer, model and operating system version?

It doesn't work without a Microsoft account. When it is created, please simply log in to the Microsoft website in your browser. This step has to work, otherwise it won't work. Usually you have to give your mobile phone number when creating a Microsoft account, did you do that?

Is a completely normal Android phone: Huawei P10 lite

I signed in to the browser, but Minecraft doesn't accept that and throws me out

Before doing this, I have to say: This is not the (direct) answer to your question!

Instead of spending 8 euro on the mobile version, you should have invested 27 euro on the PC version. Is simply better in all respects. If that doesn't work on your mobile phone anyway, but you still feel like playing the game, I would strongly recommend the PC version (Java Edition).

Unfortunately it's too late now. I'm sure I won't get my money, will I?
