Despawn Minecraft animals and villagers?

I played minecraft on my mobile phone again today, so bedrock and I was even in the chuck in my village and suddenly all animals including climbing horses are missing despite the name tag and instead of 15 villagers I only had 4 how can that be? Everything is fenced in and I was there.
