Just random minecraft seeds?

I have a problem and that is when I enter a seed of my choice for my seeds from the internet (java edition) then a random seed always comes up is that normal and if not could someone help me? (1.16)

Most of the seeds you can find on the internet are for the Bedrock edition, so it's normal if java doesn't work
