No matter which shader all lay 16 gb ram and a fairly old processor.

Is your Nvidia graphics card also assigned to Minecraft / Java?

Otherwise: Right click on the desktop and open the Nvidia control panel. Then assign Java to the Nvidia high-performance processor.

Ey thanks for the comment unfortunately can't find a tutorial can still say how exactly that works

Right-click on Desktop> Nvidia Control Panel> Switch to the corresponding tab on the left (there you can then make program-specific settings)> Add programs> Search under last used Java (should be at the top if you just had Minecraft open, if not, do it quick)> add Java> select Nvidia high performance processor for Java> save new settings.
