Do I get no disadvantages with Ryzon CPU than with Intel?

So I'm constantly advised to switch from Intel Xeon to AMD Ryzon. But the problem is that I'm afraid that I will have some disadvantages with AMD Ryzon that some software will not run as well as with Intel CPU.

And that's why I want to ask you if I should rather get Intel Core i9 than with Ryzon to be sure.

Because I had already tried to upgrade from GTX 1050 Ti to AMD RX580, and well I was not so happy with that because Minecraft Shader Mod did not work as well under RX580 as with GTX 1050 Ti. Because there was Kuda Shader Pack bugged, there was micro stuttering in the shader mod despite 60 FPS werrend with GTX 1050 Ti was not the case. And believe me, since I switched back to the GTX 1050 Ti, the Kuda shader has been working properly again. So I think AMD doesn't do that well with Minecraft shaders with Minecraft.

AMD gpus and CPUs are not the same. The AMD CPUs are great, so you won't have any disadvantages. Benefits you save money

Then what is the Intel Core i9 for?

Ce

Using poor GPU / shader performance as an example of poor CPU performance doesn't make sense.

With a Ryzen CPU, you won't have any significant disadvantages.

th

Why should it be there? Do not understand your question. AMD and Intel each have their own CPUs, AMD is simply way ahead in terms of price performance. And that's a fact

What are graphics cards for?

de

With AMD graphics cards you can be divided, but with processors it is different. The only difference is that Intel often has the faster single-core performance, but AMD has the better multi-core performance and is slightly better in applications. In the end, it just depends on the area of application.

Ju

Well actually I use different areas of application. For video rendering, virtual machines, games, Photoshop etc…

de

Then you'll get away with Ryzen even better. As I said, Intel is only worthwhile when it comes to single-core performance, which is the case in games with fast graphics cards (I don't know any applications).

Funny what?

But here you have a nice example of how false prejudices can arise through incorrect knowledge:

CUDA is a technology that was developed by NVidia and is only intended for their graphics cards:

No wonder your AMD graphics card looks bad if you use the wrong software. Or the other way around: If you are using the wrong graphics card with your existing software.

Me

No you have not. AMD CPUs are just as good as Intel's. And the new Ryzen 5xxx are probably a lot better and cheaper
