Minecraft Shift + left click doesn't work?

My friend has a problem. In Minecraft 1.8.9 I can move the item directly into my inventory with Shift + left click on an item in a box. He can't do that. Have already looked for solutions on the Internet but found nothing.

Do you have any idea where that could be?

I'm not sure at the moment whether you can change the keybinds in Minecraft, but if so then just take a look and set it.

How can I do it that when I take things out of the box with SHift they are sorted from left to right and not from right to left (Minecraft)? Ga Gainful919
