There are hardly any mods, plugins and servers for these versions. In addition, there are no innovations worth mentioning in these versions.

The 1.7 has the most mods. 1.8 has many servers. From 1.12-15 a lot of interesting things have been added. In the 1.9 - 1.11 almost nothing, and they don't have that many servers anyway.
