I recently upgraded my system with a Ryzen 5 2400g and 8gb RAM with an RX 570 8gb from Asus. Next, I would like to upgrade my monitor because it is still an old 16:10 1680: 1050p monitor from Samsung. If a 144hz monitor were worth it, I would mostly play Rocket League and sometimes Minecraft & CS: GO.
Should fit loosely at full hd. I have a friend with a GTX 1050 and he can also play at 144 Hz. And the GTX 1050 is a good deal worse:
With CS: GO and Minecraft this might be worthwhile, with the other games you will probably not reach 144fps with the RX570. If the monitor has FreeSync, that wouldn't be a problem either. An upgrade to 16GB RAM would definitely be worthwhile.
Yes, that's enough for the games and it's worth it
It works for the 3 games, but only on Full HD.
Why the hell are you upgrading your system with a Apu?
And a 144 Hz monitor is a bit exaggerated with an rx570. Of course, in csgo and minecraft, the fps are easily manageable, but if you want to play other, more graphics-intensive games at some point, your graphics card will not be able to deliver 144 fps
My system already had the apu in it, only the graphics card I recently upgraded ^^ sorry if I didn't write it explicitly enough.
He recently upgraded his system, 2400g and 8gb, with an rx 570.
