Minecraft sneak?

I have the Minecraft Java Edition. But when I press sneak (LSHIFT), then I keep sneaking until I press it again! Does anyone know how to change that?

I think that you can do that in the setting under control or something like that, play yourself on the PC is a guess that was exactly the same for me.

Strange. Look if there's a crouch (hold) somewhere with the keybinds and put it on it.

Under Settings / Barrier Settings / Sneak on Hold

You must have activated the Caps Lock key, go into the settings and deactivate it
