Minecraft in Lan give rights?

I would like to play with my buddy in Minecraft in Lan. That also worked (we're both in creative mode there and can build, dismantle, etc.). But what does not work are commands. I can do things like / tp or / time set but he does not. Why is that? Can you fix that?

If you open the world in the LAN you have to press "Allow Cheats" in the menu. That's the button on the top right.
