No, that would be a kind of "flooding" if at all.
But flooding [HTTP flooding, SYN flooding] are, for example, flooding methods that count as DDoS? Wouldn't that be the case here?
A pure DDOS attack would paralyze the server without the player / bots or the like. Would be recognizable in the game. The requests would go straight to the server. You could quickly counteract your approach with a whitelist / blacklist.
