When I start a game on my computer (have tested with Terraria, Minecraft Warface and Deathstranding) it starts whirring the problem has only been there for a few hours and I suspect the noise comes from the mainboard or graphics card area. I appreciate answers
Some more info? System? Do you have something changed (software or hardware)?
otherwise I would tap the fan bearings
Coil whine of the graphics card under power is normal.
Coil whine = you can't do anything
At Terraria, the graphics card is not even fully utilized (RTX2070 super)
A cable may be hanging in a fan, or a fan bearing may be gone.
Whirring usually comes from (dirty) fans.
When cleaning, please ensure that the power is disconnected and the fan blades do not rotate.
