Moin I have programmed a Minecraft bot (account) and now I want it to be online 24/7 without my PC having to be on.

I heard that it goes through a VServer but I have no idea what this is or how I can get it.

Ja

You just have to rent a VServer, install it on this Java and then run the client there

Where can I rent and I have a Windows operating system, does a Linux root server work there?

Ca

Yes, clearly simply connect with Putty and WinSCP or similar. And for renting you can ask your good old friend Google

Ja

Pick a hoster. Many offer VServer.

Example: I want my Minecraft account to be 24/7 on kp eg Gomme (just one example) I have a Windows operating system. Could I still get a Linux RootServer and what would I have to do so that my account is always on the server.

Ja

With a VServer you basically rent an external PC that is permanently online. Just have to pay money. And then you can connect to this server with appropriate programs (WinSCP / FileZilla / MobaXterm for FTP access and Putty / MobaXterm for SSH access). You then transfer the files via FTP and you have your terminal (console) in SSH. It doesn't matter which operating system you have on your PC at home.

Zi

@faidHD thank you in advance, one more question what is SSH?

Ja

Nothing against you, but if you have so little idea about it, I advise you to inform yourself with YouTube videos first.

Zi

I'm doing it right now, but it only shows how I can create a Minecraft server, not how I can use an existing Minecraft account to get to another large server.

Ja

But you seem to know relatively little about servers. And by that I mean vServer and not Minecraft servers. Please inform yourself about the server itself and deal with things like SSH or FTP as well as the commands that you then have to use in the console. Because I (I hope understandably) don't really feel like explaining all this to you all evening.
