Difference Between Minecraft Editions?

Di

In the Java Edition you can do a lot more and don't have to pay for everything ^^

Ca

There are plugins / mods etc. In the Java edition. And you can play with other PC players, but only with them. In the Windows 10 edition you can play with Handy / Switch / Xbox players. However, there are few mods (which also cost something) and texture packs also cost. Crossplay between the two versions is not possible

St

The Java version has servers. Windows 10 Edition is actually the mobile version on the PC. Most people use Java and I would recommend it as well because the Windows 10 edition is actually no different, only that there are more servers in the Java version and more people play them (maybe your friends too).

The Java Edition is the original Minecraft Edition released in 2011. It is more extensive, more modifiable and you can use it to join all Java edition multiplayer servers.

Windows 10 Edition is less extensive, but it is a little easier to play with friends in your own world. Many mechanics (particularly good to see e.g. In the area of redstone technology) are slightly different in the Windows 10 Edition, or not available.

From here only my own opinion

I myself am absolutely convinced Java Edition player, to play actively in the Windows 10 edition is unimaginable for me, because just too many things are different and so many possibilities that do not come with the Java edition are available. (e.g. Modding via Twitch Launcher, Java plugins, etc)

Therefore I can only recommend the Java edition to everyone.

There are many differences:

By bedrock edition I mean the windows 10 edition

Java is only for pc

Bedrock is for almost all operating systems

Java can be used free of charge

Bedrock always costs around 25 euro

Java was programmed in the programming language java

Bedrock was programmed in c ++

Java has mods, shaders and texture packs

Bedrock must be kept to the standard

Java is more complicated but there are more options (settings)

Bedrock is easier but there are fewer options

Java can only be played by pc players with other pc players

You can play Bedrock from cellphone to pc or ps4

Java can be created for free server

Bedrock you have to create paid realms that are only up to 5 players

Java there are more commands

Bedrock has command templates but less overall

Java can be played in all versions in older and also newer beta versions

Bedrock you have to take the latest

Java there are keyboard shortcuts e.g. F3 or more to craft

Bedrock you have to control a lot with the mouse, which takes longer or have to do without a lot

Java is the creative inventory messy

Bedrock organizes the creative inventory carefully

Java can only be used in shader

Bedrock has a beta version in which ray tracing can be used

Java has tutorials on the internet

No one plays Bedrock on e.g. Youtube or twitch and you can't just imitate some things

Redstone works differently

Experience has shown that Java is lighter kp why ender dragon and so it is easier to kill

Download the tlauncher to play minecraft java for free is legal

cl

? And whether that's not legal.

na

Could just download it from reputable websites and it is not written anywhere that downloading and installing is illegal. Vlt. It is illegal to create this program but not to download it

Hope I could help you make the decision

cl

Using without an account is obviously piracy.

na

But you have to create a free account on the website

cl

Naturally. Free account. Or in other words: piracy.

na

Yes what speaks against it?

cl

Hmm… That it's practically theft?

na

No not theft you steal nothing you create something that would be if you cheated
